Child accidentally Beheaded During Birth in Ilocos

A recent report alarmed the hospital and local government of Ilocos after a doctor was blamed for the death of a child during birth. According to news, the child was accidentally beheaded during the baby's birth. The mother of the child said that when the baby's head was removed from the body, she didn't received immediate attention from authorities.


Meanwhile, incumbent Ilocos Norter Governor Imee Marcos asked the authorities to investigate the incident.

The doctors of the former Philippine President, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo are asking for continuous prayers. This is after her second spinal operation failed due to the infection brought about by the malfunction of the titanium implant during her first operation.

Is she critical? or Dying? These are common questions being asked by ordinary citizens as of this writing.

Dr. Juliet Cervantes, through an ABS-CBN report said that a ventilator is still attached to Mrs. Arroyo while the doctors are supplying antibiotics to cure her fever.

Gloria Macapagal Arroyo Second Spinal Operation due to Titanium Implant Dislocation

As reported by television and online news, the former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo will undergo her second spinal operation after an x-ray findings showed that her previous titanium implant has been dislocated.

The second operation is scheduled tomorrow, August 10 2011 for approximately 5 hours.

If not found earlier, the former President might experience paralysis over the neck and other parts of her body.

Dr. Juliet Gopez-Cervantes of St. Luke's Hospital, Gloria Macapagal doctor said,

"Upon evaluation, there was pain but neurologically she was fine, her sensory and motor functions of both arms are intac"
